Stewardship 2026

Dear Church,

As we move toward Advent, we enter a season of holy wonder and deep expectation. Looking back over 2025, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the generosity, faithfulness, and shared ministry of St. Peter. God has been at work among us—knitting us together as one community, calling us into service, and leading us in hope.

Even a brief look back at this year gives us so many reasons to rejoice:

We grew in unity and mission
More than a year after our merger, we continue to live fully into our identity as one congregation—worshiping side by side, serving together, and supporting one another through prayer, care ministries, and shared life in Christ.

We grew in faith
Sunday School thrived with dedicated volunteer teachers and enthusiastic children. Our adults gathered weekly to learn, discuss, and deepen faith. Confirmation students engaged Scripture and Lutheran teaching. Vacation Bible School welcomed children from the church and community, supported by more than 20 volunteers.

We lived in hope
Through prayer ministries, casseroles delivered with love, cards sent at just the right moment, community visitation, and grief support offered across the year, our congregation bore witness to Christ’s healing and comforting presence.

We served in love
New Hope Ministries received thousands of pounds of fresh produce from our gardens—over 2,240 pounds so far this year! We collected more than 1,800 cans of soup, assembled 100 hygiene “Sunshine Kits,” provided ongoing support for Anahi’s education and counseling, and sponsored girls at Hope Academy in Guatemala.

We expect to deepen our mission to Grow in Faith, Live in Hope, and Serve in Love in 2026.
We expect vibrant worship, meaningful music, and opportunities to pray together. We expect continued growth in youth ministry. We expect continued outreach through our gardens, Social Ministry projects, Global Ministry partnerships, and ongoing care for our neighbors. We expect faithful stewardship of our building and grounds, ensuring that St. Peter remains a welcoming and safe place for all who enter. We expect lives—our own and those we serve—to be transformed by the gospel of Christ.

This is why we invite you to participate in St. Peter’s 2026 Stewardship Campaign:

GIVING THANKS, GROWING TOGETHER
